Long Division
Long Division Method can be used to divide any number.
For example:
Divide 24 by 6
We will arrange them in the divisor dividend relation
Then we write the table of 6 until we reach 24.
6 X 1 = 6
6 X 2 = 12
6 X 3 = 18
6 X 4 = 24.
So we will write 4 as quotient.
Similarly
Divide 72 by 8
Then we write the table of 8 until we reach 72.
We find that
8 X 9 = 72.
So we will write 9 as quotient.
